The research deals with the bases of theology and hstory of the establishment and development of falsafi tasawuf which focuses on the trace the Qur'anic and Hadith foundations with the fluctuation of sufistic thoughts in its historical dimensian. In addition, the discussion of the development of falsafi tasawuf is intended as an attempt of tracing the community and dreativity of sufi teachings in various beliefs. This reseach results in some notes : firstyl, the formation of falsafi tasawuf was inspired by the Qur'an and Hadits, while theabundance of sufistic and mistical consepts was flourished by extenal elements of Islam. Secondly, it is a matter of fact that there is a ontinuity of the sufistic teachings in the falsafi tasawuf schools with some modifications, such as in the case of ittihad, hulul, wahdah al wujud, and insan kamil.
