religious education [moral] is the real thing and it has the important role in education. the role of religious education will appear clearly when it is faced by the phenomenen now days, namely; depravity morals on the damaging level. The implementation of religious education in public University should be stressed intensively by adding the materials or SKS; based on the suitable principles as a strategy in developing Islamic education. In this case, it is the religious education at Merdeka University of Malang and University of Pendidikan Indonesia.het.
