The viable synthesis between state and Islam in Indonesia of thenew Older era was indicated by the goverment accommodated the ideas of Moslems as the new generation of Islam. They tried to transform their intellectuals to build new approach more subtantive than the moslems thought before them that formalized and legalized relation between state and Islam, so the implication was antagonistic. The new generation desired to build ideas of their politics based on the construct of Indonesia as nation state.het.
