The world of education is in its worrying condition. The complexity of problem ranges from the educational quality, curriculum, texsbooks, system, objectives, bereaucracy, cost, administration, to the attitude of teachers. The indicators can be seen from the disturbing result of basic and secondary education. The goverment has tried hard to overcome the problems and to increase the quality of education including Islamic education. One of the ways is to introduce competency based curriculum. the implementation of competency based curriculum is an effort to prepare students to master science and tehnology, as well as to build personality and skills.het.
