The study aims explaining the influences of academic supervision on the religion teachers' professional competence in the case of intructional planning, instructional process, and instructional evaluation. To collect the data it involved questionnaires, interview, and observation. The data were analyed with rank-difference correlation. The result showed that there was significant positive influence of the academic supervision on the relegion teachers' profesional competence in the state SMPs in ex-kotatip Jember.het.
