Slavery has been a strongs tradition whithin the society prior to the emerging of Islam. Slavery tends to show oppresions and tyrannical treatments: Therefore, Islam comes to remove it. Besides asking those who break the law to free a slave as a kaffarat, Islam also motivates all muslims to free slaves. Even, the prophet gives a good example for muslims by adopting a slave as his child and getting married to a woman slave. In the light of these, it is right to say that Islam is a religion that highly appreciates equality among human beings based on taqwa.het.
