Engagement in the discussion and debate in concpetualizing the term 'Social Entrepreneurship' in the last decade reflects the curiousity to examine in more details this new type of organization albeit the difficulty to reacha common agreement what the term itself denote. This desk research offers six propositions that reflect how the studies varied in their understanding how two aspects, the social and the entrepreneurial ones or combined. The Propositions arebased on a critical study and analysis of writings on this social entrepreneurship. The array of present literature indicates further two main approach in the attempt to find the most acceptable and well-founded conceptualization of social entrepreneurship, i.e. focusing on inidivudals or organizations as its unit of analysis.yo.
