Filantropi media dan bencana di Indonesia :
This paper discusses the philanthropic that the Indonesian mediacompanies had done in the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami. It is also added analysis of the 2006 eartquake. It finds that the Indonesian media had been particularly successful in mobilising funds for the victims of the tsunami disaster in theaffected areas in Aceh and of earthquake in DI Yogyakarta and Central java as well as in promoting philanthropy by encouraging people to give. This paper also finds that while a few of the Indonesian media companies gave the proceeds to relief organisations like the red cross, most of them are involved in the management and distribution of the funds they had mobilised. In their distribution programs maby of them worked together with other social and non-governmental organisations, but in the management of the funds most of them worked on their own. This paper finds that this tendency has raised the problems of competency, transparency, and accountability.yo.
