Norma-norma etis berdiskusi : tinjauan normatif-kontekstual al Qur'an /
It is a matter of fact that today's development of academic lifeis a positive dimension which is unseparable from discussion as a method of teaching-learning process in Islamic institutions. It is also undeniably the fact that the development of religious sciences such as Qur'anic sciences ['Ulum al Qur'an], exegesis [tafsir], theology [Usul al Din] and the others are inspired, either directly or not, by activities of discussion carried out by Muslim intellectuals ['Ulamas]. Nevertheless, discussions is not necessarily a positive dimension par excellence. It also contains a negative one, even it can lead to destructive effects. This can happen when the function of discussion has been changed notto seek the truth, but to force the participants' own interests. In order to avoid its destructive effects, duscussion needs to be complemented with normative-ethical codes of conduct. In the perspective of al Qur'an, discussion should be held by upholding the principles of mushawarah.......yo.
