Money has very important role and function in economy, because without money, economy will deteriorate to be exchange/ barter economy. Misconceptions about money have far-consequences in economy that lead to negative impact in banking system and finance, i.e. instability in money, fluctuation in out-put and employment, and gap in wealth distribution. Based on that, Islamic economy proposes interest-free banking system and finance to prevent speculation and proposes imposition of zakat 2.5 persen to prevent money hoarding, by this system, we will bring optimum economic growth and the wealth of economy through full employment into reality.ifa.
