Isra'illiyat stories leaning to the sources of jews or christians, the Torah and the Gospel. He slipped into the books of tafsir, among others, because the stories are conveyed in the Qur'an is very global, whereas similiar stories found in the Torah and the Gospel are described in detail. He can be classified into three types, namely 1)story line with Islamic teachings, which can be used to berhujjah, 2)story that is against Islamic teachings, so as not to hold the berhujjah, 3)the story of an unknown be clear about conformity or opposition to the teachings of Islam, so that the truth should not be believed or didustakan. In genral discussion about the linkages Isra'iliyyat stories with classical circles mufassir raises the assumption that the classical mufassir tend to be more accommodative to the use Isra'iliyyat stories in the interpretation of al Maturidi [d.333/944] Ta'wilat called Ahl al Sunna or al Qur'an Ta'wilat shows that contrary to the assumption above....ifa.
