Studi berbasisi surat kabar tentang pola konflik keagamaan di wilayah Indonesia Bagian Barat, 2004-2007 :
Using the 2008 dataset on religious conflicts produced by Balai Litbang Agama Jakarta, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, the author describes the patterns of religious conflicts in 10 provinces in teh western part of Indonesia during the periode 2004-2007. The patterns of religious conflicts include their types, trends across time, geographic distribution, forms, actors and impacts. Several key findings of this study are that-in line with the findings from other similiar studies on violent conflict in Indonesia-religious conflict incidents, especially the violent ones, tend to be geographically concentrated both at the provincial and district levels; that different regions face different predominant issues of religious conflicts; and that while religious groups appear to be the dominant actors in peaceful actions, the general public or masses tend to be the leading actors of violent religious conflict incidents.ifa.
