September 11 attack became major event which derail the relation between Islam and the west. It catches attention of much more scholars. One of them is Ibrahim Abu Rabi' and Stephen Sulaiman Schwartz. To Schwartz, the alliance of Wahhabi-Saudi is a criminal. The goalof the alliance is to strengthen economy of the Saudi Arabia and to create a powerful puritanical establishment of Wahhabism. From this point, emerging conflict of Islam and the West is unavoidable. Whereas in other side, Schwartz stated that, in effect, Islam is the religion of peace. Thus he offers the dialogue between the two civilizations.ifa.
