an Analysis of open book examination in learning English grammar at the first grade of SMA NU 1 Gresik
The research entitled an analysis of open book examination in leaning English grammar at the first grade of SMA NU 1 Gresik discuss about the mplementation of Open Book Examination in learning English Grammar. This research conducts in descriptive qualitative research. This research takes some aspects which includes in learning English grammar toward open book examination. Those are classroom arrangement, the instructions for open book examination, how the form of exercise ibook for open book examination. Open-book examination gives effect create their creativity. They analyze their work through their resources. rnThe student who does not have well preparation will have the minus score for their affective score. It because they need additional times to complete their work. The second research problem is discusses about mination. This research involves thirty two students in class of X-2. The instruments used to gain the data are documentation, interview and questionnaire. The rnresearcher conducts documentation and interview for the teacher and rnquestionnaire for the students. The result of this interview is the rnclassroom arrangement and instruction for the students gave affect for rntheir final score of daily exam about passive voice. There are rndifferences between the score with open book examination and not. rnThe majority of students prefer to use their own notes in open book rnexamination. rn
