Syayed Hussain Nasr is ewell-known as a western graduate scientist who is not only critical to the structure of western civilization but also to muslim society itself. As a traditionalist employing perennial approach, he is a firm believer in the vitality of Islamic tradition. Having based on this paradigm, he holds that the modern west has failed to bring about an improvement for mankind and their environment, that the world comes to crisis. The criticism is also intended to the westernised muslim. Nasr is, however, not a mere critical one, but he also comes up with a solution. He proposes to the westerners that they should return to human genuiness by practicing mystical teaching. While his proposal to the muslim society is that they should regain their awareness of Islamic Sosial order, i. e., primordial truth. syur.
