social justice philantropy is a new perspective in the field of philantropy in Indonesia. Basically, this intiative was created from the experince of the west society [especially in the united states] in responding to various conditions of social injustice, and critical of the practice of traditional philantropy [charity] that has failed to create social change. Various systematic initiatives concerning social justice philantropy particularly grew stronger in the beginning of 2000 in the west, although there is not any agreed upon ,operational definition until now.het.
