Regional autonomi is govermental policy with decentralization approach which has positive implication in the education world, namely, education autonomy policy. The policy has consequences in the curriculum, educational process, and stake holder participation. The islamic tertiary educational institution in the regional autonomy must consider three things, goverment, stake holder participation and market. Related to this, this qualitative study aims at describing the existance of Islamic educational institution Asy Syafa'ah Kebonsari Jember in the era of regional autonomy, especially it's institutional orientation, it's curriculum, and it's developmental strategy.het.
