The study found that variable XI [assessment method] was the most dominant factor influencing the career development of police in distric police of jember, do it was suggested that 1. The commanding officers of the distric police station have to socialize the assessment method, so that all the officers will understand the procedures completely, 2. The commanding officers have to motivate all the officers under their commands to always attempt to develop their careers by improving their skill through education, training, courses, etc. So they will be more professional in the future.het.
