The weight uniformity of isoniazed powders has been investigated. The powders were dispensed by pharmacist technical assistants with there years minimum working experince. The powder were dispensed in two different doses [50 mg INH+50 mg lactose] per pack, with variation in the number of dispensing [packs], i.e, 10, 20, 30, 45 and 60 pack for each dose. The visual division methods were varied to 5-5, 10-10, 15-15, 20-20 and 30-30 part in each division. The result showed that the eligible weight uniformity of small dose isoniazid powders were those dispensed in 10, 20, 30, 45 and 60 packs with 5-5 division method. while the eligible weight uniformity of high dose isoniazid powder were powders dispensed in 10, 20, 30, 45 and 60 packs with 5-5, 10-10, 15-15 and 20-20 divisions. It can be concluded that dispensing the small doses of isoniazid powders should be better performed with 5-5 visual division method, while high doses should be divided visually not exceeding 20-20.het.
