Metodologi sains dan agama : telaah komparatif-metodologis antara ekonomi dan ekonomi Islam /
Indeed science and religion have many similarities in their methodology. The trivial differences among them actually anriched and accomplished each other. science concerns with seeking to the causality of all empirical phenomena whereas religion concerns with the meaning of them. While science tends to be quantitative and posivistic, religion tends to be qualitative and charged with moralistic values. Such was the case of the comparison of the Islamic Economics and the modern-conventional one. Methodologically both kinds of economics are not different. Both of them applied the 'logico-hypothetico-verification' methodof thinking which was the basis of scientific method. The essential difference between them laid down on their approaches. Modern-conventional economics tends to apply the positivistic approaches which were characteristically value-free, whereas the Islamic Economics tries to synthsize the positivistic approaches and religious values with the result that it relized.....yo.
