The political conflict which followed the death of the prophet Muhammad frequently generated the involving of religion into it. The search of justification from normative grounds of the Qur'an and hadith has been conducted by some groups of muslims in dealing with their political enemies. As a result, a number of hadiths have been narrated by them in such a way that they made use of them for the sake of their political interests, and thus the narration of the falsified hadith [al hadith al maudu'] represented a critical issue. This condition then gave rise to the idea of codifying hadiths, which was first commenced in the beginning of the second century of Islamic calender. This attempt of codifying hadiths palys an important role in maintaining the authenticity of hadith, as it paves the easier way for examining the quality of hadith through its chain of narration [sanad] and narrated substance [matan]. The production of books of hadith focusing on either sound [sahih] or.........yo.
