Upaya dalam membimbing ketrampilan sosial siswa tunagrahita sedang di SLB Negeri Gedangan Sidoarjo :
Purpose of this study is to develop a hypothetical social skill consulting (KS) program for the moderate mentally retarded students on the basis of specific needs revealed clearly through assessment. This program wants to brdge implementation of KS consulting that so far has been relisde on curriculum and not on assesment. The research employed a case study framework, while data were colleted through assesment to know specific needs for KS of the students. They were also done by interviewing teachers and students'parents to knoe a KS ability in school and home, and throught necessary documents to knoe the implementation of KS consulting that the teachers have done in SLB Negeri Gedagan Sdoarjo. It used qualitive analysis to interpret and get the main inference of the data obtained as inputs for developing the actual hypothetical program that really considered student's specific need. Since the hypothetical program has been formulated, then this study has achieves its objective.dopink.
