What might be the relevan aproach to study tasawuf?To fully understand sufism, should the scolars experience mystical practices, or is it enough to simply study it?If the scolars simply learn sufism as a science what might be the adequate approach to understand the statements and explanations contained in sufism literature?Some other different questions are whether such claims of spiritual experiences proposed by sufis truly happens and whether there is any relation between spiritual experience and wordly life?The above questions have become the central issues among experts in the field of sufism present times.There fore this paper specifically discusses sveral approaches to the study of sufism developed worldwide.
