In the perspective of Qur'an and Sunnah, zakah is a worship of wealth; which has a strategic role to increase welfare and to alleviate proverty if it is organized by a professional, responsible, and transparent zakah's organizer ['amil]. Based on several researches, the prospect of zakah collection in Indonesia is approximately between 19 to 32 trilion IDR annualty. Meanwhile, the number of poor families and unemployed people are still high in Indonesia, that is about 37.17 million people are poor and 28 million people are unemployed. The board of zakah's organizer could distribute its funds to the poor families by employing productive zakah approaches, particularly by investing capital funds for running a business. Its continual accomplishment with an approapriate supervision from zakah's organizer, will eventually solve the problem of proverty in Indonesia.ifa.
