Information society absolutely needs information in their daily lives. This research describes the need of information of high school students and supplies of information in high school libraries in Surabaya. The research aims to recommend strategies of services in the libraries to fulfill the users' need of information. Descriptive quantitative approaches were utilised in this research. The respondents of this research were four hundred high school students studying at SMA Negeri 20, SMA GIKI 2, SMA Muhammadiyah 2 and SMA Mahardhika. The students were sampled by using cluster random sampling. Instruments for collecting data were questionaires. It was found that the high school students in Surabaya need information with regard to their personalities, roles and environments. These three needs differs proportionately. The high school students need more information regarding to their personalities rather than information relates to theri social role nor environment...ifa.
