The easiness of internet access facilities and the more sophisticated the facilities offered by the internet in the era of Information and Communication Technology [ICT] today was accompanied by the emergence of phenomena that shows high intersts to urban youth in using the internet. From this phenomenon the researchers wanted to know the true pictures of how internet use behavior in urban adolescents today. Some researches had been done earlier on the internet use among urban youth in Indonesia, which are outdated in the sense of the time conducting the researches and the topics. The researches had done in the time when the internet access was rare for public and even not available at schools. The topics are about relations between motives of the internet use and customers satisfaction, the influence of the internet as an interactive communications media, the negative impact of the internet use on social life or of the psychological points of view.
