The issue of the authority and the authenticity of the Sunnah is considered very significant and very important, because it is closely related to the theological view of the majority of Muslims who make the Sunnah as the second main source of the teaching of Islam after the Koran. The issue that must be answered in this context is how the view of history is about the validity of the Sunnah of the Prophet which in fact has been scurrilous. The content and nature of the Sunnah of the Prophet need to be understood and clarified more because Sunnah in the hadith literature and Muslim jurisprudence in medieval Islam was considered as something absolute and pertaining specific rules details set in all areas of life for all time. This is not correct, because according to Rahman, the entire biography of the Prophet Muhammad really proves that basically the Prophet Muhammad was a figure of moral reform for mankind and not a legal expert who dictated the rules of all areas of human life.ifa.
