Theoretically, the shalat time was determined by al Qur'an and Sunnah Through the sun movement phenomenon. Based on the al Qur'an and Sunnah instructions, there are various nash texts as if be incompatible with each other i.e. in determining the beginning of subuh time, nash reveal with some lafal such as, ghalas, isfar, and ishbah. These terms need to define practically in astronomy principle, to facilitate us in implementing ibadah. This article will describe the meaning of shalat time from both al Qur'an and Sunnah views into astronomy principle, so that the shalat time can be easily calculated and determined without 'merukyah' the sun phenomenon in implementing each shalat. This article will accompany the contraventions of ulama in giving sense of syar'i views into astronomy principle, so that this article is not only doctrine, but invite us to think creatively in determining shalat time.ifa.
