The purpose of this study is to explain the empowerment of potensial areas data based investment over the internet to increase lokal revenues and to describe the factors the affect it. The collecting data on the qualitative description research performed throught in depht interviews of five informants. The result show that the empowerment of potential areas data based investment toward regional income increasing is at a high frequency, The significant increasing is included on the regional income in the sector levies, taxes, and export. In addition, the factors supporting the empowerment of potential areas data based investment to increase local revenue is coordination with the parties/agencies as well as the institutional. While the factors that impede is the lack of operational capability of human resources.ifa.
