The study of the Koran has very long and extensive experience. The development of the study can be grouped into three phases: the codification of the text, the translation of the text, and the efforts of Muslims in understanding the text. This article explores the study of M. Arkoun, one of the contemporary thinkers, to reveal the process of revelation of the Qur'an beginning from the first stage in which the Absolute Allah Almighty had revealed the Qur'an to human beings that are limited.
