Endowments are one of the most important financial sources that ever existed in classical Islamic era. Substitution of one ruler to another did not dampen the importance of endowments in sustainable development, particularly with regard to the development of science and the entire surrounding infrastructure. In the classical period of Islam, education reached its peak. From philosophy to the exact sciences, all grown up to the point where there is never a period before Islam can ever achieve.
