Today there are three economic systems, namely: Islamic economic system, capitalist and socialist. Each of these three economic systems is composed of a set of values that shape and build the organizational frameeork of economic activity. Axiologically, hierarchies will show the hierarchy of strategies and tactics for a frame of reference which is absolute and always changing. On the axiological level, Islam and capitalist economic systems have some similarities related to attitudes which strongly support individual freedom and private property. Both systems also encourage market mechanism as a means of allocation and distribution of economic resources. In a market mechanism, there is a balanced force among the market participants. A number of other similarities can be found in viewing the role of private initiative in promoting growth. Meanwhile, the similarities between Islam and socialist economic systems are in explicitly addresing the problems of income distribution and...ifa.
