The paper is an attempt to present cash waqf as a model of giving in Islam with philantropic of social justice prespective. On this prespective, cash waqf placed in the conArtikel of empowerment among the economically marginalized. Cash waqf will be integrated into microfinancing program to efectively alliviate absolute poverty. Waqf fund collected through cash waqf will be alocated as loan for microenterproces and the benefit will be alocated as qardhul hasan for the poorest. Baitul MAl Wa Tamwil is an ideal institution to operate the microfinancing programe based on waqf fund.ifa.
